Accessing Google Resources and Single Sign-On Applications with your District Account

To access your SCUSD Google resources, such as Google Drive and Google Docs, as well as other resources connected via Single Sign-On (SSO) like Infinite Campus and the Frontline Absentee System, you must ensure that you are logged into your district Google Profile.
Google Services used in the District
- Google Chrome - In addition to enabling Single Sign-On, signing into Chrome allows access to Bookmarks, Search History, and Tabs & Tab Groups across multiple devices.
- Google Drive
- Google Docs - Includes Sheets, Slides, and Forms
- Google Meet - Free Tier
- Google Translate
- We do not use GMail, and you will encounter an error message saying your account does not exist if you attempt to log in. To access your email, go to https://www.outlook.com
Steps to Log into Your District Google Profile
- Open Google Chrome on your device.
- In the upper-right corner of the Chrome browser, click on your profile icon (or "Guest" if no profile is signed in).
- Select "Add or Switch Person" from the dropdown.
- Click "Add"to create a new profile if your district profile has not yet been added.
- Enter your district-provided email address and password.
- Follow any additional steps to complete the sign-in process, including multi-factor authentication if enabled.
- Once signed in, your district account will be connected to this profile, and you can use it to access your Google resources.
Accessing Single Sign-On (SSO) Resources
Applications such as Infinite Campus and Frontline's Attendance and Assignment Portal are integrated with the district’s Single Sign-On (SSO) system. Once signed into your district Google profile, these applications will automatically authenticate you when you navigate to their websites or applications.

Note:
- Always use your district profile when accessing district Google resources. If you encounter a "403 Error", you need to switch to the SCUSD Google Profile.
