Student Password Reset
ClassLink has provided a tool for scheduled teachers to reset passwords for their students. To reset a student password, the staff must be scheduled as a teacher/co-teacher in the class.
The password created in the tool will be a temporary password that allows the student to log in THE FIRST TIME. Once logged in, ClassLink will prompt the student to create a new, secure password.
New students to SCUSD take 24-48 hours after being scheduled to your class in Infinite Campus before the students are in ClassLink. At that time, the teacher is then able to reset the students password to give them access to ClassLink. If you are not able to reset a password due to not seeing your student on your roster, check with your site scheduler. For all other issues, please write a support ticket to support@scusd.edu.
Teacher Actions

Select Your Course
If you are unsure which course section your student is located in, you can search by typing the name of the student in the search bar at the top.

Select Your Student(s)
Click Students on the left to open the student roster.
Choose the student(s) to reset by clicking on the box to the left of the name.
Click Manage Selected to open the password reset page.

Create the Temporary Password
Click the Password tab at the top

Enter a temporary password
12 characters
1 upper-case letter
1 lower-case letter
1 number
1 special character
Click Reset
Wait 5 minutes for the system to update

Last Step
Students will use the temporary password provided by the teacher to log into ClassLink.
ClassLink will prompt the student to create their new, secure password.
